This is my modified version of the home page of links
used by the reporters and editors in the newsroom of The New York Times for
their research and other forays into the Web. Please e-mail me any suggestions!
I will be adding a new updated guide.to travel sites soon.
Some highlights: a new features site is Mastersdegree.com which has a trove of information about Masters Degrees. Politicalresources.net and Governments on the WWW
have the best collections of worldwide political links that I have seen--
phenomenal resources. Moreover.com
is a great way to search hundreds of periodicals and newspapers for specific
or general topics. Gomez.com is an excellent
site that compares online businesses in various categories (e.g. online travel
sites, online banking, brokerage, etc.) MySimon
is good shopping bot that will quickly find you anything purchasable on the
web. ... . . On AdCritic.com, you'll find favorite TV
commercials in Quicktime format and a special section for political ads. . on Fodors.com
you can quickly create useful personal travel guides for dozens of cities
around the world.
For business links, see BusinessLinks ; for politics, PoliticsLinks
